More about Ford Ecosport leasing:

Believe it or not the Ford Ecosport has been around for years, since 2003 in fact so this is not technically a 'new' car but more of a complete overhaul. The EcoSport is built on a Fiesta platform whereas the Kuga is on a Focus/Mondeo. The EcoSport as its name suggests offers a greater ride height, firmer drive and the same in car tech you'd expect from any Ford. If the Kuga is a little too strong for you then the EcoSport is perfect.

Key Ford Ecosport Features

The Ford EcoSport has 2 petrol engines - the 1.5 108 bhp and the famous 1.0 EcoBoost engine which produces 99bhp and emits only 125g/km of co2's. For diesels there is perhaps the more popular choice of a robust and economical 1.5 TDCi which houses 90bhp and emits only 120g/km of co2's. In terms for trims there is only one - Titanium which is Ford's top spec. Powershift automatic

Reasons to lease a Ford Ecosport

Lease the Ford EcoSport for something a bit modern and different. The EcoSport is tough, compact and sturdy with some fantastic engines and in car entertainment to go with it. It is incredibly competitively priced which sets it apart from some of the rivals. The EcoSports charm is that it's not in your face like many crossovers such as its bigger brother, the Kuga. It looks comfortable inside a bustling city but equally on country lanes or bombing down the highway. Its economy is also nothing to be scoffed at when compared with many crossovers.

  • Classic SUV look
  • Crossover with hatchback economy
  • Titanium high spec trim only option
  • Manual or 6 speed power shift
  • Cheap to lease

Conclusion

The EcoSport is the master of the urban jungle. It is light, compact and economical. However, if you're after off-roading then this isn't the one for you. What you will get however is a sturdy, good looking hatchback with a higher ride, firmer handling and superior space inside.
