EV Charging

EV Charging Points are an essential part of owning and running a vehicle via Electric Hybrid Car Leasing. Please see our guide below on the essential facts when considering an EV or Hybrid vehicle charging points.

When looking for a home charging point, there are 3 options to consider - 3.6kW, 7kW or 22kW power rating.

Also, you have to think about how you will connect your vehicle to the charging point?

If your vehicle comes supplied with the relevant cables, then a universal socket would be the correct choice. If you vehicle does not come with any cables, then a tethered version (built in cable) would be the correct option.

The quickest charging point, for standard home charging is the 7kW option

By using a charging point, time required to charge your vehicle can be up to 10x faster than a standard 3 pin plug.

Please note: 22kW home chargers require a three-phase household electrical supply.
