The Ford Motor Company, founded in 1903 by Henry Ford himself, had the aim of producing an automobile that was reasonably priced, reliable and efficient. Henry Ford was President of his company throughout his life and into retirement shortly after WWII, when he was presented with 2 separate awards for his contribution to the motor industry by the American Petroleum institute and the Amercian Automotive Golden Jubilee.
Today, we see Ford engines win awards such as International Engine of the Year three times in a row for their 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine due to its lightweight body and brilliant fuel economy, but it doesn't compromise on performance which has meant sales have soared.
For a start we had the release of the all-new Mustang which has been extremely popular around the world, and is shaping up to be the highest selling modern day Mustang we've seen, as this model was the first to be built for UK buyers. The engines we have a choice of in the UK are far different to the ones in the US, as you can probably imagine, and we can choose between a 2.3 litre EcoBoost or a 5.0 litre V8! Hmm...
We've seen the release of quite a few new Ford models this year including the design for the new Ka+, the new Ranger, the insane new Ford GT, the new Edge, the new Focus RS, the new Kuga and EcoSport. The list goes on but it's clear to see how many developments and models which are being introduced by Ford, and these cars aren't thrown together either, they're really turning heads. If you'd like more information about one of the models listed here then please click the one you want from the list for more details.
Ford have always kept true to the comapny's very first ideals set out by Henry Ford - to produce vehicles that are reasonably priced, reliable and efficient. Today's Ford cars are the purest example of that and more with the implementation of their Ford SYNC technology which has uplifted the quality and ingenuity of the range.
This means that we consistently have some fantastic car leasing deals on Fords directly from Ford themselves, and also that the cars will hold their value better than others, so you are likely to pay a lot less than if you went with a different car manufacturer.
Below are some excellent reasons to lease a Ford:
