Acceptable forms of proof

In order to take out a finance agreement with any company they will need official proof of who you are and where you live.

So what are acceptable proofs?

Proof of identification

For the purpose of proving your identity we will need:

  • Current/Valid and full UK driving licence which must be registered to your current address 

And/Or

  • Current/Valid British Passport

Proof of address

For the purpose of proving your address, we will accept the following:

  • Mortgage statement (dated in the last 12 months)
  • Official letter from a government body (e.g. council tax)
  • Utility bill (dated in the last 3 months)
  • TV licence (dated in the last 3 months)
  • Wage slip that shows full name and address (dated in the last three months)
  • Home insurance document (dated in the last 12 months)
  • Rent or tenancy agreement
