Why lease a Hyundai Ioniq?
The name Ioniq is a portmanteau of ion and unique which is apt for this car as it has carved itself a niche as an affordable, saloon esque hybrid which is perfect for small families or for a business trying to clean up their fleet. The Hyundai Ioniq looks great and blends in easily into motorways and cities and many may not even know it's a hybrid. It's a car that's easy to drive even for those who have never experience a non fossil fuel vehicle before and of course it's cheap to run regardless of the engine you choose and it's probably one of the most affordable ways to get into an alternative fuel family sized vehicle.
Engines and Trims
You've got a choice of the all electric engine which has a 0-62 of 10.2 seconds, 120 break horse power and a top speed of 103 miles per hour. Next is the 1.6 petrol hybrid engine with a 0-62 time of 10.8 seconds, a combined mpg of 83.1, 141 break horsepower and a top speed of 115 miles per hour. Lastly, you've got the plug in hybrid which has a 0-62 of 10.6 seconds, combined mpg of 256, top speed of 110 miles per hour and 141 break horsepower.
Available trims are SE which gets you 15" alloy wheels, leather steering wheel, cloth seats, air conditioning, rear parking sensors, 4.2" LCD display and much more. Upgrade to Premium to keep all that SE has along with a 8" infotainment system, heated front seats and Apple/Android CarPlay and lastly Premium SE which will get you all of the above and optional 17" alloy wheels, alloy pedals, ventilated seats, front and rear parking sensors and much more.
This is not a complete list and should not be used to make a decision on purchasing the Hyundai Ioniq.

Other Compact Saloons You Can Lease
Compact saloons are not the most common body style at the moment but they are getting more popular as many feel a hatchback's boot space is not quite good enough anymore but they don't want the size of a larger saloon. The Hyundai Ioniq is one of a few compact saloons that we have on offer for larger families and for business use. Below are our recommendations for others to consider:
- Audi A3 Saloon Lease
- Skoda Octavia Lease
- Vauxhall Insignia Lease
- Ford Mondeo Lease
- Toyota Prius Lease
