Have you been looking for a 7 seater but found them so boring that it put you off and got a 5 seater instead and just made do? Do you have a passion for going really fast and having loads of children ruined it for you?

Well, if either of the above is you or you've just got a sick fantasy for massive cars going massively fast then boy do we have the top list article for you.

Yes, we've just researched the fastest 7 seaters that you can actually lease from us. Enjoy!

Never be late on the school run again.

14. Toyota Land Cruiser 2.8 D-4D

Toyota Land Cruiser

The Toyota Land Cruiser is a beast of a vehicle and although it’s the slowest on the list it’s by no means a slow car considering it seats 7 and it’s as big as it is. There is only one engine available which is the 177 bhp 2.8 diesel engine.

0-62: 12.7s

Top Speed: 108 mph

13. Ford Galaxy 190

Ford Galaxy

It may appear like a boring MPV but underneath the Galaxy is a massive powerhouse that can shift its passengers from 0-62 in 10.6 seconds thanks to the 190 bhp engine.

Top Speed 128

12. Renault Grand Scenic 1.3 TCE

Renault Grand Scenic

The Grand Scenic is enormous and it will stun all around as it blasts past people with the 1.3 140 bhp turbocharged engine.

0-62: 10.4s

Top Speed 121 mph

11. Honda CR-V 1.5 VTEC Turbo

Honda CRV

The biggest and only 7 seater in the Honda fleet is no slouch and can get to 62 in 10 seconds flat with a top speed of 124 miles per hour in a 1.5 VTEC turbo engine that uses the same technology like the Civic Type R that can produce almost 200 horsepower.

0-62: 10s

Top Speed 124 mph

10. Skoda Kodiaq 2.0 TDI 4x4

Skoda Kodiaq

The Kodiaq is the first German SUV on the list but certainly not the last. This is the first one which can get under 10s for a 0-62 and probably one of the few many on a modest budget would consider while avoiding cars with an MPV look.

Not all Kodiaqs are 7 seater so you will need to log up the range to find one.

0-62: 9.9s

Top Speed 121 mph

9. SEAT Alhambra 177

SEAT Alhambra

A surprising addition is the excellent SEAT Alhambra MPV, the fastest engine being the 2.0 TDI 177 DSG with a top speed of almost 9 seconds and a monstrous 130 mph top speed.

Top Speed 130

8. Citroen Space Tourer 2.0 HDI 180

Citroen Space Tourer

Perhaps our favourite addition to this list of fastest 7 seaters in the bus that is the Citroen Space Tourer. Opt for the 180 BlueHDi engine and you can get one of the fastest buses in the UK with a 0-62 of 8.8 seconds which is huge considering its size and what it is.

0-62 8.8s

Top Speed 115

7. Land Rover Discovery SDV6

Discovery SDV6

Opt for the 3.0 SDV6 engine and you turn your 7 seater Discovery into a monster capable of getting to 62 mph in 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 130 mph.

Top Speed 130

6. Volvo XC90 T6

Volvo XC90

There are no performance model XC90s, per se but if you get the T6 engine you’re going to get one anyway. 0-62 in 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 140 mph.

0-62 6.5s

Top Speed 140

5. Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d

Mercedes GLSThe GLS 400d provides 7 seats and a thrill ride with a 0-62 of 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 148.

0-62 6.3

Top Speed 148

4. BMW X7 M50d

BMW X7M50d

Now we’re getting serious. This is where 7 seaters go from fast to stupid. The BMW X7M50d can max out the top speed at 155 and go from standing to flying in just 5.4s. Think of what it would look like a car of this size pulling away like that!

0-62 5.4s

Top Speed 155

3. Land Rover Range Rover Sport P525

Range Rover Sport

With the P525 engine, a 7 seater Range Rover Sport can get a 0-62 time of just 5.3 seconds.

0-62 5.3s

Top Speed 140

2. Audi SQ7

Audi SQ7

The SQ7 is the fastest fossil-fuelled 7 seater in our list and creates quite the gap between this and 3rd placed Range Rover Sport. A 0-62 of 4.8 seconds and a maxed-out top speed make this one of the most thrilling SUV/MPVs in history.

0-62 4.8s

Top Speed 155

1. Tesla Model X Performance Ludicrous

Tesla Model X

It almost feels like cheating but the Tesla Model X (and Model S) 7 seater can get to 0-62 in less than 3 seconds and has a maxed out top speed. Imagine having 7 passengers going at that speed? Well, if that’s what you’re after then this and only this will do it.

0-62 2.8s

Top Speed 155

Conclusion

And there we have it! The Tesla Model X is the fastest 7 seater you can lease with us by a country mile but there are plenty of more sensible and cheaper alternatives if you are looking to get one of these people carriers but don't want a big lumbering box that's no fun to drive!
